The Adegga Wine & Food Festival opens its doors at the end of the week (June 30 and July 1), on the terraces of the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Lisbon, and you want to ensure a dining experience complete and unique in a relaxed environment. This festival is the latest evolution of the brand Adegga, which already has 25 editions of the Wine Market. But, now, the experience extends to the cuisine and promises two days with the best drink in Portugal, but also the best eats.
In this context, the “Chef’s Table” is one of the great novelties of this edition. Ten heads were challenged to create two appetizers of the author exclusive that will marry with the wine of ten producers. André Magalhães, Diogo Rocha, Valdir Lubave, Joachim Koerper and Victor are of Course some of the names already confirmed, along with the wines of Carlos Lucas Winemaker, Ségur Estates, Aveleda, Domino and the Edge Bar.
Another of the high points of this Adegga Wine & Food Festival is the initiative “Table Over the Long Summer”. It is a single table, for up to 50 people, whose menu will be prepared by chef Nuno Bergonse, with the use of organic products to the Portuguese era. Another attraction of this celebration of dining is the fact that it is a dinner BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle), which invites participants to choose and to bring a bottle of wine for the table. The price of the dinner is €60 (includes entry into the festival on Saturday and Sunday, with a right to proof of all the wines available).
Apart from the aspect of gastronomy, the event also features news related to the evidence and presentations of wines. One of the curiosities is, even technological. The cups for the evidence are integrated in the technology SmartWineGlass, which contains a chip, where the registers all the wines tasted, and allows visitors, by sending a personalized email, you receive all the information about each producer.
In the Adegga Wine & Food Festival will be present 60 producers, including the Adega Mayor, Bacalhôa. AdegaMãe, João Portugal Ramos, Quinta Valle of Steps and Aveleda, with the possibility of tasting over 500 wines. To access the event, which takes place, Saturday, June 30th (14: 00/21: 00) and Sunday, July 1 (12.00/21.00), the daily ticket costs €15. Another possibility is to purchase the Festival Pass in the amount of €40, that in addition to the input and possibility to taste more than 500 wines, also offers a gift purchases of £ 10 and six appetizers “Chef’s Table” in the value of €30.
