Burgers for 71 cents? Yes, on the anniversary of the Hard Rock

Yes, it is the same truth. Today, between 11: 00 and 12: 00 there is a return to the past at the Hard Rock Cafe of Lisbon. Without the need to take a ride in Marty McFly in any of the films of the trilogy “Back to the Future”, the Legendary Burgers are the prices of 1971. A currency of €1 gives you the right to change this day that the iconic brand celebrates 46 years of amplifiers connected.

The party today does not follow the motto of the Prince, who sang “So tonight I’m gonna party like it’s 1999”. Going further back, the 70s. The celebrations start early in the morning, and promise to burgers signature, concerts, electrifying , and a real fashion show “vintage”, since the staff will be dressed as if it was 1976 , and the clients are also invited to embody the spirit of the season, and the “assaulting” the guard clothes from the grandparents and the parents.

The anniversary of the Hard Rock Café begins early in the cool, when the kitchen began to leave the Legendary Burgers for just 71 cents. More for the evening dinner will be seasoned with the performance of a DJwith a saxophone to the mix and, around 23: 00, dance-as if there were not another day. The band’s Evolution takes the stage, just under the gleaming Cadillac and “nail the bottom”, lead the guests on a journey to the great hits of rock and pop, starting in the 70s up to this day and age.

But there is more to prove in the menu of the international Hard Rock Café Lisbon. The “Famous Fajitas” (€21.25) can be chicken, beef or shrimp grilled, accompanied with pico de gallo, cheese, Monterey Jack and Cheddar, guacamole, fresh sour cream, and tortillas hot and are almost mandatory in any meal. The Legendary Burgers out of the hour of the feast cost €15.75.

The Hard Rock Café has been established for 46 years by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London. After learning of the intention of Eric Clapton in exposing a guitar in the Café, the pair of founders decided to combine music, “memorabilia” and food to give customers a truly unique experience and unforgettable, a mix of music museum with a restaurant.

Already passed 14 years since the President of the Municipal council of Lisbon set out a guitar at the official inauguration of the space in lisbon. In the Avenida da Liberdade, 2, (tel. 213 245 280) where in time was the cinema Condes, every day thousands of people pass by the space to discover the exhibition “memorabilia” exposed, some by national artists. The chain Hard Rock has recently opened in Porto, in Rua do Almada, 120, (tel. 227 664 470) and is present in 75 countries, with 175 Cafes, 24 Hotels, and 11 Casinos. Has the world’s largest collection of mementoes related to music.
