Candy with fish and other unlikely combinations in Setúbal

The first edition of the Fish Festival of Setúbal presents tables well stuffed of their freshest seafood, but also tastings, live cookings and a show dining options amazing.

Between the days 25 and 27 may the sea always present in the everyday life of the city, rises the protagonist, revealing some of their best ingredients. Mackerel and sardines baked, fried cuttlefish and fish stew, among many other proposals are on the table more traditional or innovative dishes.

From this Friday, around 20h30, there are “Tastings restaurant” in the House of the Bay of Setúbal. The White Sail, wine Cellar Leo Snack, The Sea Setúbal, Corner of Snacks, Ferribote, New 10, The Deck, Rebarca, Ribeirinha do Sado, Marquês and Tavern Great to feature some of their best meals cooked with fish, during a session that is again the case on Saturday, at the same time.

In any of the initiatives, each tasting costs €1,50.

Meanwhile, the grilled fish is the king on the menus of several restaurants – the full list can be found on the website of the city of Setúbal – presenting offers and gastronomic initiatives themselves throughout the weekend. The House of the Fish, The Barrier, the Cellar of Joe, Port, Corner Sea Blue, New Tavern, the Fisherman, the Lettuce, The Batareo, The Boat, The John of the Fish, The Nau and Praxedes are only some of the participants.

Are also planned sessions of the live cooking: already this Friday, 21h00, takes to the stage the chief Rita Gonçalves; Saturday at the same time the chief Miguel Bértolo, both in the House of the Bay of Setúbal. In the Grocery store Trust Troino stems from a third session, with the chief Patrícia Borges, Saturday, 26, at 11: 00.

But the most surprising moment of this gastronomic Festival is to “Show the Sweets with the Fish”. The heads Álvaro Santos, José Serrano, Nuno Gil, #inprováveis, The-Mar, Setúbal, Batikanos, Confectionery D Arrábida, ice cream parlour Valencia and N’a Pas of Which come together on Sunday, at 16h00, in the promise of a new experience in dining.
