Celebrate the Wine of Porto, with the city at your feet

Dinner wines available in the context of the Port Wine Day, at the suggestion of the Baron Fladgate, full Cellars of Taylor’s, you must start with seared Scallops on Rocha pear, creamy, pumpkin, roast, orange, mini chard, almond Douro toasted and curry sauce, garnished with arugula, to marry with Taylor’s Chip dry and tonic, continues by Vitelão Maronês with sweet potato purple, lapel pink pepper, spring onions, Port wine, carrot baby about pea trufada and trompetas death with Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage in 2013 and finished with Cream Brulle of caramel over cumble dried fruits, popcorn caramelized currants and gooseberries, frozen raspberry, harmonised with Taylor’s 10 year old Tawny (6 cl). The meal costs €48 per person.
At Vinum, the wines of the Symington are the stars that shine to the side of the Ceviche verde, the best fish in the market of Matosinhos (Anselmo Mendes Contacto 2016), followed by one of the most emblematic dishes of the house, the ‘entrecôte Cow Old with a thousand leaves of potato and sweet pepper, mini vegetables or a Selection of cheeses (Stilton and Cured), connecting perfectly with a
Quinta do Ataíde “Vine Arch” 2014 or Graham’s Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage port. For dessert, the Pear escalfada in Graham’s Extra Dry Port with ice cream white chocolate caramelized house with
Graham’s 20 Year s Old Tawny || Graham’s Six Grapes.
