Children’s day: celebrate on the terrace of the new Doca de Santo
The year was 1995 and the riverside area of Lisbon via the birth of a new area of catering and leisure facilities, which became known as the “Docks”. In the scope of the renovations made to the restaurant, the Doca de Santo was provided with a room in lighter tones, with plenty of natural light and the atmosphere light, and the other more contemporary and intimate, ideal for a romantic dinner. On the top floor is a third room, more reserved and suitable for parties of the group.
The changes also extended to the children’s area, the Dock Kids, that so many and so many families have received in recent years. It was also created an area inside to play with. That is, there are enough reasons for this to be the ideal space to mark the World Day of the Child. Thus, starting by the younger people, it keeps the Menu Kids (€9,50), which includes soup, side dish and fruit or a scoop of ice cream. Among the dishes will be able to choose to Bifinhos of chicken, Pasta Bolognese or Burger (all $ 6, if ordered off the menu).
In the new menu (geared to adults), which featured a hand of José Avillez will find, in addition to the already famous Nail in a frying Pan 1996 (€9,95), with fried egg and potato crisps, and Curry Prawns (€12,95), with grilled vegetables and rice Thai, other proposals are more contemporary, such as Risotto of Mushrooms (€13), Ceviche of salmon (€8,25) and tuna Tartar (€11,50).

Tel. 213 963 535) presents, from Monday to Friday dish of the day (€9,95) dividing, then, of suggestions for snack, salads and main dishes. The restaurant Doca de Santo reopens 22 years after the inauguration, under the management of the group restore Capricciosa, which has as shareholders the Grupo José Avillez, who has helped in the preparation of the new charter.
