Chiringuito Style, and Star of Spain to invade Algarve

The edition 2017 of the Fine Wines & Food Fair, the most important gastronomic event this year in Portugal, is entering in the final straight, but still with many of the stars from the kitchen to parade in the Vila Vita Parcin Porches, Algarve. After nights led by some of the most important chefs of Austria and Switzerland, as well as an evening “All Star” and another dedicated to the wines of Bordeaux, selected by René Gabriel, the “Pope of Wine” and that counted with the presence of the “Chef of the Century”, Eckart Witzigmann, the festival is now dominated by Spanish neighbours.

In the beach of Armação de Pêra, the restaurant Golden Beach receive a special event in the style of the chiringuitos of the beach of Barcelona. This is a lunch in the informal sector (€48) in the environment chill-out and to the sound of a live DJ, dubbed the“Snack Chic – Barcelona Style”, which will have as protagonist the well-known chief Evaristo Triano restaurant Pez Vela in Barcelona, the author of one of the “best Paella in the world”, made from the rice of Spanish origin, “Bomb”, and that will be accompanied by the well-known wine of Juvé y Camps.

In the evening, already at Vila Vita Parc, more precisely in the award-winning restaurant, Ocean, the chief host, mr Hans Neuner will lead an evening entirely dedicated to flavors and creativity of several stars of Spanish cuisine. Paolo Casagrande, restaurant Lasarte (3 Michelin stars), Josean Alijaof the restaurant Nerua (2 Michelin stars), Xanti Elias, the restaurant Acánthum, in Huelva, Fina Puigdevall, from the restaurant Les Cols, and Juan Pretel, restaurant Roca Moo in Barcelona (1 Michelin star) will prepare a menu of surprising, which will be harmonized with a selection of wines of the famous winemaker and wine producer Alvaro Palacio. This “Night Dinner Star of Spain” costs €330 per person with wines included.

Kitchen Party

Tomorrow, Saturday, the event Fine Wines & Food Fair will end in the party mood and in apotheosis, with the realization of the traditional “Kitchen Party”. About 350 people will have the opportunity to taste the creations of more than 20 renowned national and international chefs, accompanied by some of the world’s finest wines and gourmet products, such as the “Imperial Caviar”. With several cooking stations individual scattered by the ClubHouse of the resort, the participants, in addition to taste multiple dishes, they can also talk with the heads. Hans Neuner, with 2 Michelin stars, and Golden Fork Guide “Boa cama Boa Mesa” in the Ocean, is the host of Juan Amador, Jacob Jan Boerma (both with 3 Michelin stars), Henrique Sá Pessoa, Rui Paula and Vítor Matos, among others.
