Flavors of Cuba warm the Park of the Nations, in the week of celebration
On the week, in Parque das Nações, multiply the celebrations on the 20th anniversary of the opening of Expo 98, the restaurant Bistro & Tapas, the hotel TRYP Lisboa Oriente (Av. D. João II, Parque das Nações, Lisbon. Tel. 218 930 017), has, between today, the 23rd of may, and 3 June, the best dishes of the cuban cuisine, which results from the mixture of various cultural influences as the Spanish, the african and the caribbean.
Under the theme “10 days, 10 dishes, 10 euros”, the Gastronomic Week in Cuba, available at lunch, will bring to the table dishes such as Bream with green peppers and garlic sauce, Fillets of perch in the oven, stuffed with seafood, Chicken baked in a marinade of citrus, Fricassé of peru to the creole, Cubes of pork fried with rice, moros y cristianos, pork Medallions with pineapple, and Beef minced with peppers and Aubergines ready dressed.
To sting and give beginning to this trip to Cuba, the Bistro restaurant & Tapas suggests a Marinade of miss in the fashion of Santiago and chicken Salad to the Cuban with peppers morrones, asparagus, and pineapple, among other entries. To close the meal could not miss the Cream of sweet-potato drunk, the Slices golden to the Cuban with vanilla ice cream and the Sweet corn. The letter for this week’s special was prepared jointly by the chief Paulo Anastácio and the cuban artist Niurka Bou.
