The Restaurant John is first and foremost a story of a woman and a man who is strong of their experiences, have wanted to open their address in an area for which they have had a heart stroke. Together, they offer a gourmet cuisine where the product reigns supreme and welcome recently, a new young chef full of talent.
The origin of the Restaurant, John, Delphine and Frédéric Guidoni, alumni of the prestigious Maison Taillevent. They have taken the risk to leave this place of exception, because they had wanted to embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship and open up their own restaurant.
It is thus that they are launching in 2001, after having had a huge coup de foudre for the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette.
In 20016, they receive a star in the Michelin Guide which will be withdrawn in 2016, at the departure of their leader !
But from April 2016, a young talented chef has entered the kitchen by : Mickaël Poyault !
At only 26 years old, this young chef already has his style and does not hesitate to affirm. It must be said that he has been trained in large houses such as the Mandarin Oriental, Fauchon, or even Madder. It puts its high tech to the service of his creativity and dares to propose blends of flavors and textures without complex ! For him, cooking is a kind of game because it never forgets to be fun first. The product reigns supreme and the sublime. It must be said that the garden owners in Normandy is inspired, not bad.
The menu changes every 2 weeks, in order not to get bored and surprise, without stopping the client !
In this moment you can find as a starter, mackerel, olive, watercress and kiwi or celery root, jerusalem artichoke, mushroom and juniper. In dish, the beef, avocado, lentils, and dates , or even the paccordingly prevents sea, bisque, endive & pumpkin. To finish on grapefruit, chervil, hemangioma roasted, peanut, ice timut or the Chocolate, apple, kiwi, fennel & wormwood. You have been warned, the chef dares the associations of flavours !

- At Lunch, the menus at 31 and 38€
- At lunch and dinner the tasting menu in 5 services (60€) with 2 starters, a fish, a meat, a dessert. Menu with 3 glasses of wine in agreement. 78€ Menu with 4 glasses of wine in agreement. 84€ for all guests ** a glass of wine 12 cl
- Market Menu (dinner only) 3 course… (45€) with an appetizer, main dish, dessert. Menu with 1 glass of wine in agreement (51€). Menu with 2 glasses of wine in agreement (57€)
To accompany this good kitchen, 220 references of wines that have been enriched as encounters and strokes of the heart. The credo is to have a wide price range to satisfy all tastes, offering both young winemakers wines of great renowned. It must be said that the owner has his own land in wine-growing family in the north of Corsica, so he knows what he’s talking about !
In short, the Restaurant Jean is an address where gastronomy and conviviality are the order of ! We appreciate if you like to get off the beaten track, be surprised and try new flavors.
